Sweetly In Development......

...continuing Sweetly Sings The Donkey by Shelagh Delaney (1964) the novella I am illustrating for my MA in childrens book illustration.
 All images in pen/ink/brush/conte crayon/pastel. Some rough sketches from life and some worked up at home - work in progress and trying things out at this point. These aren't 'finished' as such, although whenever I take work in my tutors always prefer my slap it on in 3 seconds intial work.
